Wow! Wow! Wow!

What an amazing turn out for our working bee yesterday. The Wimmera Kart Racing Club just keeps growing from strength to strength, with over 18 club members giving up their Sunday THANK YOU. Tim and Phil Batchelor from Batch's Locksmiths spent the day installing point to point Wi-Fi to ensure the WKRC provides the technology required to be successful and enable karters to access mylaps any time whilst at the track.

This project is still a works in progress, members will be notified when this has been fully implemented and available. A massive THANK YOU for Batch's Locksmiths ongoing support and sponsorship. Shane Altmann our Track Maintenance Co-ordinator was ecstatic with the amount of members that helped both new and old. This is something that the WKRC loves to see. Thanks for all the weeding, alterations to sweeper run off, mowing, brushcutting and general track maintenance.

Hi All, and welcome to 2019 !

We recently held our first FUN day for the year with great success. I would like to thank all the members that made our new members WELCOME and passed on some of their experiences. WKRC Next official Club Day to be announced soon !

Our recent Bunnings BBQ was a little slower than usual and our profits where low, but on saying that I would like to thank every member that gave up their time on a 42-degree Sunday to help and support the club. Our next Bunnings BBQ will be held on the 1st September.

Thank you to all those that have renewed their membership using the new online method, through the Karting Australia Licence System. A reminder to those who wish to, but have not yet renewed their membership, please do so as soon as possible.

Remember to also check your licence expiry date and renew if expired. A current licence AND membership is required to access the track. Country Series Round 1 will be held at Warrnambool on 9th and 10th February. I would like to wish all WKRC members competing in Warrnambool for their first round good luck and safe driving.

To our newer members that have not yet been to a race round, I would encourage you to attend as it is a full-on weekend and you will gain so much experience from just watching what goes on.

The Wimmera will be holding Round 5 of the 2019 Victorian Country Series on September 14-15 so keep your weekend free.
